Rohit Sabnis & Robert Bodzin Featured as Authors & Editors In National Trade Secrets & Non-Compete Agreement Compendium

These Burnham Brown partners were chosen by the Defense Research Institute ("DRI") to function as authors and editors in the publication titled "Trade Secrets and Agreements Not to Compete: A State By State Compendium." The authors co-wrote the California trade secrets chapter and were the editors of all chapters for states contained in the "Mountain Region", including Nevada and Colorado. The publication is available for sale through DRI's website, http://www.dri.org.

Rohit Sabnis and Robert M. Bodzin defend matters involving trade secrets, non-compete agreements and unfair business practices as members of Burnham Brown's Business and Commercial Practice Group. Mr. Bodzin is a co-chair of the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group and has been trying complex cases in California and New York for 15 years. As a member of Mr. Bodzin is member of the DRI Commercial Litigation Steering Committee and as a regular contributor its publications, he authored the California chapter on Unfair Competition Law for a nationwide compendium and also functioned as an editor for the same publication. Mr. Sabnis is the author of the influential law review article, Product Configuration Trade Dress and Abercrombie, 1 Minn. Intell. Prop. Rev. 183 (2000). The authors were part of the winning team that obtained summary judgment and complete dismissal of a trade secret/misappropriation/fraud claim shortly before trial in the case VFD Consulting, Inc. v. 21st Services, et. al., 425 F.
