The Food Law Committee is a newly-formed Standing Committee of the Litigation Section, one of three, devoted to advancing a neutral forum for education and discussion concerning the growing body of law focused on food litigation, regulation and policy. Past Litigation Section Chair Robert M. Bodzin of Burnham Brown is a committee member and the liaison with the Litigation Section Executive Committee. Mr. Bodzin spoke earlier this year at the Sold-Out UCLA Law School Seminar, “Beyond Labeling: The Role of Litigation in Broader Food System Reform.”
Mr. Bodzin is a Burnham Brown partner and one of the Chairs of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He has been a speaker and chair of multiple educational and trial practice events for the Litigation Section. He has also been a speaker on class action litigation at seminars sponsored by the Defense Research Institute and the California Retailers Association. Mr. Bodzin is a trial attorney who is licensed to practice law in California, New York and New Jersey.
