  • Primary practice area is in civil litigation involving liability that arises out of injury to persons or property
  • Represents companies in complex litigation across multiple state and federal jurisdictions, including class action defense
  • Experienced in case management, formulating litigation strategy, and advising clients through all stages of disputes, including initial investigation, taking critical depositions, navigating electronic discovery, filing pre-trial and dispositive motions, and mediation
  • Argued before appellate courts in California, Washington, and the Ninth Circuit, with numerous briefs covering a spectrum of substantive law, including asbestos and medical device matters, securities law, professional responsibility, premises liability, insurance and workers’ compensation law, as well as civil procedure, evidentiary, and constitutional issues
  • Maintains a practice and interest in trademark law, including advising clients regarding potential infringement, conducting clearance searches, and navigating the provisions of the Lanham Act and civil procedure unique to federal trademark litigation
