- Defends transportation industry clients in a variety of matters, including evolving legal issues like FMCSA Preemption of California wage and hour laws, independent contractor misclassification legislation and interpretation of California Labor Codes.
- Assists transportation clients in reviewing and evaluating independent contractor, owner-operator and vehicle lease agreements to assure compliance with California Labor Law.
- Defends construction, transportation, manufacturing and food distribution companies against catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims, including emergency response investigation, pre-litigation alternative dispute resolution and litigation/trial.

- Practices in federal and state courts throughout California having tried over twenty cases in San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo and Monterey counties as well as in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
- Successfully tried over twenty jury trials in San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, Stanislaus and Monterey Counties, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
- Participate in various forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution including Mediation, Early Neutral Evaluation and Arbitration.
- Litigates class action and single plaintiff cases throughout the State of California, including developing discovery plans to defeat class certification and prevail on dispositive motions to posture cases for early and effective resolution.
- Enforces and participates in arbitration agreement proceedings to avoid protractive litigation-related expenses in order achieve efficient rulings and/or settlements.
- Initiates alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation, voluntary settlement conferences, and early neutral evaluation.
